Bringing digital health services to Australians

We have secured a global partnership with NexJ, a leader in intelligent customer management systems and a pioneer in developing digital tools for health management. The partnership will see the introduction of MAXConnect – Wellness across Australia in 2020.
Often, people are unaware that knowledge and self-management will improve their health. Whilst there has been an increase in the use of some technologies such as fitbits and wearable wellness devices, this is only part of the solution.
Over the last four decades, the focus has shifted towards chronic conditions that require proactive, preventative measures and self-management.
According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, chronic diseases are the leading cause of illness, disability and death in Australia with more than 50 per cent of Australians reporting as having
at least one chronic condition.
These conditions, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease and mental health disorders, have an impact on both the individual and society.
In 2019, we began working with peak bodies to explore what a holistic solution could do for Australians. The platform has already demonstrated success in trials treating depression.
For those being treated via the platform, there was a 60% reduction in depression compared with 17% for those using traditional modes of care.
In bringing together biometric data, online health coaching and a personalised plan, the platform will drive better awareness and provide people with a tool to better manage their health.
